SADIQABAD: A traffic Policeman on Monday fined his own son for not wearing a helmet in Sadiqbad, Punjab.
According to the details, traffic police assistant sub-inspector (ASP) named Imtiaz Abbas handed a fine of Rs200 to his son.
The traffic police officials declared that the use of helmets is mandatory for motorcycle drivers and action will be taken against those who violate the traffic rules.
Similarly, Punjab government has also stated that it is mandatory for motorcyclists to wear helmets.
In September, the Lahore High Court (LHC) had instructed traffic police to take action against those motorists who are not wearing helmets.
