Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Afzal Latif scorned Board member Khushal Khan over the suggestion that the commercial plots in G-14 be allotted to a housing foundation. “How can the civic agency allot its own assets to another departments” The chairman asked.
According to details attained by Daily Times board member Khusal Khan was insisting on allotting the commercial plots in G-14, worth 50 billion Rupees, to a housing foundation without any proper reason. The Chairman later cancelled the summary.
The board meeting, held on a 9 point agenda, approved 6 points while rejecting 3 others.
During the meeting the CDA also allotted a plot to the National institute of health and rehabilitation (NIHR) center.
The board members also canceled the allotment of a plot to the Ghandara Public school in H-8 Islamabad.
Board members also rejected changes in a policy regarding allotment of government houses to employs in the capital.
The promotions of the paramedical staff of the CDA Hospital were approved in accordance with the amendments in 1992 act of promotion.
